I have a customer that was using voice mail to email it was working fine until they change to Office 365

I have been working with there data company trying to get it resolved

They are using SMTP port 587 and POP3 for Authentication does this mean that I have to have something in 47-19 ?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

JD

Office 365 has to be setup for this.

AND of course the system has to be setup with the new SMTP address and port

I am responding to this somewhere else! There is a setting now that enables the use of more secure apps but I would have to check where it is (I think it is the new last item on the 10-12 page). I will check at work tomorrow However this is dependent on system type and firmware level. NEC had to bring this in as the use of less secure apps, which you had to use with Gmail, was becoming increasingly difficult!

Yep. Office 365 is kind of a pain. That relay has to be in for almost all customers that use any notification from devices on their network. Printers, copiers etc...

To improve Office 365 the name has been changed to Microsoft 365.
