Hi all,

My customer converted to AT&T Fiber with the CO lines broken out to SIP/analog on the AT&T ports, now after the move the customer is stating that they cannot hear the caller and what I experienced myself that I could barely hear them when I called.

The problem appears to be intermittent and in house calls sound fine.

I've done the calibration per NEC tech and that hasn't solved the issue.

I'm going to take a CO line simulator to site to compare My line versus AT&T

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Check your cabling and if that checks out make sure their lines are running g7.11 on the ATT side. If the cabling is good and the only difference is the carrier as they say.....

Thanks for the reply,

Earlier today I used my Viking dial tone simulator in place of the AT&T SIP/ANALOG lines and there was a major difference in call quality in terms of volume & clarity so I ask the customer to get a vendor meet between myself & AT&T, I need to make note of requesting g7.11

Thanks again
