NEC 9100 - 2 days ago all DESILESS extensions on the system (143 of em) lost the capability to adjust inbound ring volume and when the phones are idle; LCD display adjustment.

I see that using the service code in 11-11-18 (code 725) to toggle B.G.M. on and off fixes this BUT...what the heck happened?

Now I have to go to each phone manually and enter 725 to toggle that on and off? Is there a system setting somewhere that changed the setup?

I'm also setting the system to do a reboot tonight after hours...but this is def one for the books as to what happened.

Update - a system reboot made zero changes all EXTs seem to be stuck on B.G.M. enabled unless they are manually turned off using the COS 1 code 725 to turn it off

Software ver 10.0.5 so my next step is going to be updating the version to latest n greatest (kickng myself that I didnt do it last night...like it says, No one seems to have time to do it right but everyone has time to do it twice! SMH at myself)
