I have run into this more than once. When I am connected to a phone system using Hyperterminal on my laptop (XP), I can see everything just fine when it's in the frame. However, if I scroll up, the previous data is mixed up with other previous data, and is unreadable. Any ideas?

I use the original version 1.2 PC Plus. Archiving and restoring databases is so much easier and if I want to capture text I just Alt F1. I write macros for my logins with passwords so typing is not needed at all. Found this especially useful years ago with DSU logging off so fast.

No, PCAnywhere is for remote access to another computer. Procomm is ok, I prefer Telix.
