Hello trying to install mini on a 3x8 dr5 ds. Software ver is ok. when fea983 is entered it comes up to log instead of password for intitializing. Should i try to short cap. or am i missing something. Thanks Joe

fet 983 is to get into programming, it always says log
fet 981 will say password if the mailbox was assigned to an ext.
what are you trying to do?

DMCSALES I'm trying to reset the voicemail and reinitialize. Cust bought system and it is still programed, with passwords. I tried shorting cap. for maybe 60 sec. Should that be long enough? Thanks Joe

I used a 1000 ohm, maybe that was the problem. Yea thanks for the fet 985 reminder, its bad to get old and forgetful. Thanks Joe

Please Do Not post pass codes that can result in anyone being able to read this type of information in these Public Forums.
