We are in the process of installing a small office light system at a remote location which is serviced by a comdial DXP version 15C. Is thier a way to administer this Voice mail system remotely via modem?

Kevin:
You can administer the system remotely by modem--using Keylink software which is included with every KeyVoice VM. You can also administer it using a remote phone---I do most of my remote stuff this way. No need to have a modem hooked up, just need a backdoor line into the VM---it should all be in the manual. You use the Administrators MB menu, and also the KeyVoice TeleParameters feature for almost all changes. Using a remote phone, you can make almost any programming change--routing boxes, system changes, subscriber mailboxes, plus you can change any voice greeting, or name. Good Luck

pcanywhere is the way to go.

Just remember set the keyboard handler to level 3 if you plan on editing any dos files.

Once you open the edit menu you will lock up if the handler on you machine is not set to level 3.

The teleparameter is always a good second solution if your just doing changes.
