I have a rhetorex 8.5 Key Voice that the promts audio is fine but any greeting or recorded audio sounds terrible? Help?

Can you find out complete version info? I'm more interested in driver version. What platform is it on? PC, DX80, Debut, etc.

Was this a working machine and this just started happening?
With the voicemial up, hit alt-f4. Tell me what is show in the gray line at the bottom of the main screen.
