I have Repartee for Windows running on a Win 2K3 Server, and a Mitel SX-2000 Integration. Suddenly, after the VM stopped answering yesterday (I restarted it, and it started behaving), it won't turn on the MWI lights anymore.

I double checked the switch settings, and made sure on the SX-2000 the settings were correct (Feature Access Code, Class of Service, etc), but they won't turn on.
This is affecting all my phones...
I can turn the light on/off by manually dialing the code from my phone...
How many ports? Is it Analog or Digital Integration? Check out last port by dialing in. make sure its answers. Make sure last port shows A/D. You may set this up as D only without Answering cause if VM very busy by answering calls last port wont have time to send a MWI. But I think your Notification port is not working. Try set up different port for Notification.
It's Digital Integration, 16 ports, the last 8 set to A/D and it's been working for years fine. Recently, we upgraded to the newest version for Win 2K3, but didn't have a single problem until that other day when it freaked out and stopped answering.

I've been able to narrow it down a bit, I get an error in the Windows Event Log saying that it can't get asynchronous status notification to start. The exact error is below:

P000014c0 T00001298 PBX_GENDIGITAL_DLG L02 Z0000375033 03\13\2009 15:15:11.996 PBX_CHANNEL_GENDIGITAL::Initialize : Unable to enable asych status notification (1286:(null))

Oh... and all the lines answer fine, and regular voice mail functions are working correctly, just not MWI
Randy,
I would call support. Maybe its set up for SMDI integration and that is why you have this error.
You can always run the integration again. That seems to work most times.
I am assuming that this is digital integration. You said you can turn on the MW light from your phone. Have you tried to plug a set into the last port of the VMS and try turning it on from there? That would be the first thing I would do.
As it turns out, it was something on the 3300 ICP, a reset of that system cleared it up
Thanks for letting us know
