DSL Modem issue for VPN - 07/03/07 03:45 PM
site A:I have a Qwest DSL circuit. They are using PPPoA fo rtheir login.Static IP
Site B: Integra DSL static IP
I am trying to set up a VPN to another site that has DSL as well for a VOIP network.
My problem is the Site B DSL Modem is bridged, and I set up the IP info in the BEFSX41 Linksys router and all is well.
When I set up the same thing at site B I need to choose PPPoA so that way I can enter in the static IP and use the username and password. There is not that option. I have PPPoE (which doesn't allow for an IP address) and PPTP (which doesn't work but gives me IP, and name/password fields)
I was able to establish a VPN from site B to A but not the other way around, and I can't see the tunnel at site A.
Any thoughts?
