Does anyone know where I can obtain the pin wiring for the DB9 adapter used in programming a Comdial Impression system with a laptop or terminal. I believe Comdial's part number is DXCBL. It is the one that connects to the serial input of the laptop while the other end connects to a standard 4 conductor modular cable that plugs into the CPU port ?? Thanks

You can get one at Radio Shack.
Hope this helps

Thanks dtmf but no go. They have the one I have that has to be wired. Unfortunately I don't know what pins the wires go on.
If you put your e-mail in your profile I could send you the specs.

DTMF. I forgot the password I used so I re-registered under soldout2. My email is now in the system. Thanks for the future pin wiring !!!
I really hate to tell you this but your e-mail still isn't there.
Didn't I send you the pin readouts already?
I know I sent them to some one.

Ok, try this.
[email protected]I was only selecting the "moderator" can see. Maybe that was the problem. Either way, there it is
PS No, it wasn't me you sent it to
GN=2
RD=3
BK=5
if that doesn't work
just reverse GN & RD
if that doesn't work substitute YL for BK
if that doesn't work reverse GN and RD. One of these combinations HAS to work if your baud rate is correct. It should only take a minute or two to finger it out.
