Anyone see the situation when installing I Primo VOIP phones for telecommuters you receive the following on the display...Intializing..ok,Connecting..ok,Registering...ok,Reconnecting... and that's it. After reconnecting it will sit in that state for 20 minutes and do nothing. Called the ISP not blocking pings. Home router not blocking UDP/TCp traffic and port forwarding to the appropriate internal IP address of the IP phone. I can ping the FX VOIP board. Any tries???? Thanks....P.S. VOIP phone works fine on the local network...
I'd rather be doing that too! I have installed quite a few of these, and never had that except for a timeout when registration is occuring. I found that after my laptop was logged out from VMMI, the issue went away. Sounds basic, but do you have the lastest FTP on it, that would be 400? There was also a TSB that mentioned Spanning Tree Protocol on certian switches that could cause funny issues similar to this.
Thanks for the input. Yes I have the latest software on the set. I agree it's an odd issue. I'll scan the tech support for all related TSB's. Have a good one.
Fixed it. Thanks for the input......

I'm having the same exact issue. What did you find that fixed the problem.
Thanks, Billy Dale

Cable provider was blocking ping requests. Had them to allow pinging and the I Primo started working.
