the com ports on the back of the key voice can you used the second port for turnning on the message waiting lites like com one on dxp. just trying to get this fix the eazy way with out replaceing pc thanks

yes you can, you will need to run first time set up to tell the vmail you are not using serial intergration. or hack the IMOK line in the comdial.lnk file. (only if you know what your doing!!)

If you do not want to run first time setup and this is a DOS vmail, set up the sting in all the boxes, *3,x and #3,x.

Just remember if you are using a sm off.lite change keylink to com 1 so no conflicts and be sure to have a monitor and keyboard handy as 1 comm port cannot do keylink and serial inter.if a corp office comm 2 should be disabled in the bios to allow for the modem. disable pc anywhere remove the modem and then enable the comm port in the bios. if you do not disable any thing using that irq and enable something else you will have conflicts and it could shut you down. can you used the second com port on the keyvoice as serial port. would the second one work if the frist is blown out thanks
