We had an FXS system with a SCSI expansion go down today. From our testing it appears that the FXINT-MAUX card is bad. We do not stock this card as it's out of date and I was not able to find one locally. However we do have the FXINT-MAUXII card in stock. I have a card coming tomorrow morning but would like to get the system up for the night shift tonight. Does anyone know if I can slide the MAUXII card into an FXS running 17D? Couldn't find anything on the CCC

Wish I had seen your post earlier while at work. I would have tried it on a shop system. I have used a FXINT-MAUX in an FXII. I'm betting the only difference is the strapping for allowable clock source slots. Hate to see it blow something up though without a sacraficial system that try it on though.

Well, we ran the risk and installed the FXINT-MAUXII card. The card syncs up until I try to bring it up with the SCSI expansion connected. A boot up with the expansion cabinet results in "no sync" on all cards.

Good info. Glad you found a replacement. They are getting scarce.
