How much storage (minutes) is on the flash cards. Have a customer with a 32MB card that appears to give 90 minutes. Do the larger MB cards give more minutes? How many minutes?

I have been able to use up to a 512 card for about 6 or 8 hours of storage. Contact me by PM if you need one.

You'll get about 500 minutes with a 128MB. As inexpensive as the 512MB cards are, I'd go with that.

A 2GB card gets you 8850 minutes; I doubt the VM would see anything bigger than that.

What flavor 2gb cards have you been able to make work?

And how are you getting the image on there? Are you using Comdial's flash utility, or are you using something like Ghost? My experience has been that Comdial's flash utility only seems to like up to 512, but nothing bigger than that.

Thanks!

I've used the utility on 2GB cards also. The problem is fat16 versus fat32. You must format the larger cards for fat16 or they won't work.

The standard SanDisk 1Gb cards should work every time. I've never had one not correctly format. I'm not going to get into the details for formatting the 2Gb CF cards. It cannot be done using normal DOS.

%y, your MB is full.

This is the info:

The standard SanDisk 1Gb cards I've always been able to use the image tool on with no problem. This is on the voice mail II boards. I'm not sure if they work on the version one cards.

The 2Gb cards need to be formatted with Datalight's Rom Dos. I wouldn't bother unless you want to do it just because you can. I can't imagine anybody would need that kind of storage on the DX.
