Hello,

We are using a Comdial FXII phone system. Our operator's station is unable to page through our PA system. I have a button set up to page and it should also work by pressing Intercom 87 as it does with every other phone on our system. I have tried two different phones with the same result which makes me think it is an issue with the station programming. Any ideas?

Check the COS of the operator station and see if it is allowed to originate calls on the line that is in line group 9.

Isn't that the code for a DSU not an FXII?

You are correct, that is the DSU code. However, in this case the user identified the system as an FXII.
The user appears to be using a line port for external paging access. LG-9 access code for an FXII is 87!
