I want the voice mail to transfer to a routing box instead of the system attendant when somebody doesn't want to leave a message in a mailbox and they dial 0.

Naturally the DX won't let you enter anything in system programming other than valid extensions.

I can't believe I forgot how to do this.

Change the operator in the class of service (0)?

Well duh, I remember that now. Getting old sucks.

Turn on DT in the trace and watch. The inbound digits are most likely going to a routing box with the default (no digits) going to the operators ext. 100?

Don't forget about trans.nit and trans.day if you have them. They over ride trans.txt. Also, in a DX80, make sure any MB that has MWI code has a valid ext. on the PBX. Or you will be in a world of hurt as any port that tries to light a MWI to a non existant ext. will cycle forever in RNA.

Zuet, I just needed to set up a menu versus an extension when somebody dialed zero in a mailbox. It is in COS, day and night operator fields. I'd just forgot.

The MWI issue was resolved very early on. I think in Rel. 8510.
