Hi. I am very new to this group and as well to Comdial phones and systems. I have two phones (6706 and a 6714 that I am evaluating for future reuse. I ran the Self Test procedure from the FAQ. The 6706 seems to pass the Self Test -- all LED's light and the ringer chirps. On the 6714, all the LED's light but the ringer does NOT chirp. It appears to fail self-test. Again, because I am so new to this equipment, I want to validate the the 6714 is defective before I toss it! I appreciate any feedback provided.
