I have THOUSANDS of 8P8C modular plugs for solid wire, US made by Hubbell for sale $5.00 per hundred.

Also, thousands of 8P8C plugs for solid wire that don't need a criper, just a pair of pliers also US made by Hubbell for $9.00 per hundred. They are great for T1 extensions from the D-Marc.

Lastly, I have several hundred BR866JC and JA adapters that plug onto a 66M1-50 block and provide a 568B jack (BR866JA) or a 568B jack with the third pair brought out to a separate jack for power input (BR866JC). These are used for Merlin phones.

These are the good stuff, not the cheapo import ones. All prices are plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested. I can PM you with pictures or send samples.

Hi, All. I am finding that I am getting so many responses that my PM mailbox is nearly full. It would be best if you just send a regular e-mail of the quantities you want, along with your shipping information. Thanks to you all for your interest.

Ed, Are you leaving the business? geez!
Posted By: EV607797 Re: Anybody need modular plugs? - 03/26/06 02:31 PM
No, I am not leaving the business! Don't tease everyone! We have stopped servicing Merlins and don't really need so many 8P8C plugs anymore, that's all.

That and he bought out SNS LOL

Ed how many 8P8C solids do you have left
Posted By: EV607797 Re: Anybody need modular plugs? - 03/26/06 05:29 PM
Waine:

Ha, Ha! I imagine that there are still thousands left since we started with over 10,000 originally. My guess would be about 4,000 left. I will check tomorrow and let you know.

OK
Posted By: EV607797 Re: Anybody need modular plugs? - 03/27/06 01:17 PM
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have purchased these plugs. I was absolutely amazed at the response we received. I am glad to see them going to good homes.

Just an update, I am pretty sure that all of you have ordered had your shipments go out today. If you don't see them by the end of the week, please let me know. I may have missed one of you.

Also, if anyone else is interested, I will be happy to send you a free sample bag of 25 plugs for you to evaluate. We only have about 5,000 left, so please send me an e-mail if you are interested.
Posted By: EV607797 Re: Anybody need modular plugs? - 03/28/06 10:03 PM
Hey, folks. Thanks for the major response and purchases! Unfortunately, I originally offered to send free sample packs of 25 plugs, but I didn't expect the overwhelming response. I am going to have to limit the free samples to five plugs just so I don't give all of them away, plus the shipping is killing me. If I limit the samples to something I can put in an envelope, I can just send them to you as a letter.

Wow, what a place to sell a surplus products!

I received them as well what a disappointment big box that says Girl Scout Mint Cookies :toothy: I open it and find a bunch of plugs frown

Thanks Ed
What crimp tool do you use? Students say plugs are tight in Ideal
Posted By: EV607797 Re: Anybody need modular plugs? - 04/06/06 07:28 AM
I use the Hubbell brand tool myself, but my techs have several different ones. The plugs are a little tighter in the Ideal tool for some reason but I don't know why.

They worked okay for me in the Ideal crimper. I had to crimp twice to get the pins to set though.

Can some one please let me know what is the Protocol of the Intertel Switch Solution? I am getting a VoIP PBX to have Ip Phones and be connected to the Intertel Switch. I am in Panama, Central America but the Nortel and Avaya providers must know first the protocol of the switch.

I will be glad to get an answer on this.
Muchas Gracias...

Chuck and Charlie:

Thanks for the good comments; I agree that these plugs are really good. We have been using them for years. I am glad they worked out for you.

Any chance you have a source for that Hubbell crimp tool? Mine doesn't work properly.

Jeff:

I would think that Rexell or Anixter would be a good place to check. GMP also has a tool that can be ordered with different dies to accommodate different manufacturers, such as AMP. As far as I know, Hubbell plugs should work with any universal 8P8C tool though.

I have an old Allen Tel crimper. Works great on Ed's plugs and is not tight at all. No Problems.
Thanks for the great deal Ed.
