I'm looking for a AE or WE Panel phone (preferably with back box). Can be SL or 1A2/10A2. I know AE made one with the 880 speakerphone installed and that would be an excellent find.
If you don't haver one out in the barn but know where I could go look, please let me know.
TIA,
Sam
CEECO in tampa makes panel phones and its been a while
but I think they do custom work also.
Not AE or WE but give a look.
CEECO is actually in Lakeland, FL, but they specialize in weatherproof/vandal-resistant stuff. I seriously doubt that they will go into production for one single panel phone.
The last new production of S/L and 6/10 button 1A2 panel phones came from Allen Tel Products (Graybar's house brand). The guts of these sets were made by ITT, and they have long-abandoned 1A2 manufacture, so I don't see them at being an immediate solution. It still might be worth contacting Graybar to see if Allen Tel has any old stock available.
I still encounter S/L ones in high rise buildings around here, so I'll keep an eye out for one that a customer wants to have "removed". I'll give them such a deal.
Thanks guys! I'll look into CEECO. Yeah Ed, see if you can get a nice disconnect.

Pretty ugly, harvest gold, rotary dial, but with back box......
Tommy -
That's not ugly, it's hideous. ;-)

I don't know why my URLs aren't working right - they're OK on preview post.
If you are looking for new GaiTronics may be worth looking into

PhoneCoInc has them listed under decorator /novelty phones
Thanks guys. I think I'm going to go to Allen Tel. See if they have any of the old stock around. I'm not interested in the industrial type.
