Professionally, I only get to work with new systems, but I'm starting to get some older stuff for my own curiosity / tinkering. So....

Looking for a Rolm 9751 (9005) and Phonemail system. Ideally from the Midwest so shipping won't kill me or it's not too far of a drive to get it myself. Since a dedicated 220 outlet is going to be tough, looking for a 1 shelf system. But, since these are getting so hard to find even second hand, I would consider a bigger system as well.

Can anyone satisfy my weird curiosity??

Your really grasping at straws

Eh, I wouldn't say I'm grasping at straws too too much. Ok maybe some.

There's lots of people out there collecting old phone equipment. Granted, mostly electro-mecahincal switches and mostly Bell System stuff. I find it all fascinating. But, late 70's and 80's was when electronic / digital equipment really took hold. Rolm had a big part in that. Granted, the 9751 is "newer," but giant orange cabinets in my basement aren't feasible right now.

Not many people are collecting the early electronic stuff. But I think it's all pretty important, as important as the older mechanical stuff. Hell, if I could find an SL-1 and a bunch of wedge phones right now, I'd be all over it.

Another user actually let me know about a complete Redwood system, phones, cards, spare parts, and all. Driving up to KC to get it this weekend.

But, if anyone does know of a 9751......

I had a Redwood back in the day. Took it on trade. Cool little system that never took off...they were called Deadwoods back then.
I recycled two 40 ton dumpsters of SL1 systems and phones. Bummer.
