What is it?

Okay, I know its the auto attendant card. 8-ports I think. But how does it differ/interact with the Cadence voice mail card? Is the cadence card VM only, and the AA features use the other card?

I don't have any manuals for it. I don't see any mention of it in either my DCS or Cadence manuals.

So, how do I use it?

Not sure if this is related...

I cannot make a mailbox "Audiotext" with option code 1423. It tells me "the option code you've entered is not valid."

So, does that have anything to do with the DCS-AA? I have one in my system.

The AA card is exactly that,an auto attendant card and UCD.The Cadence can do both, auto attendant and voicemail. You can use an AA card to relieve the calls to the voicemail system by having it handle incoming calls. It would give you more incoming call processing capabilities. It should be in your DCS manual.
