Calls coming in on line one are appearing as two calls - one of which is just dial tone...if restart does'nt clear this, what settings need checked? Default password?

It sounds like your line one is crossed with another line. Can you take line one off of the Samsung and call into that line with a buttset clipped on to the feeder block to answer the call? If the condition still exists it's a telco problem.

I agree it sounds like you may have a cross or the tip from 1 line connected with the ring of another line.

Hmm, a shot in the dark but I just ran into the same thing today. One of our customers had somehow managed to forward thier last line in the hunt group to thier line 2. When you called that number, the line would ring for just a brief moment then go to thier second line giving the apperance that both lines rang at once, if you tried to pick up the last line you got dial tone becasue the call had already moved to the other line. If the other suggestions don't pan out it's worth checking on. Good luck.

It was a hunt group error from the telco.

Thanks to all.
