A small non profit has a Prostar / Starmail system that I know little about (I did buy the manuals last year). They took a power hit yesterday (both were on a newer UPS) but the Starmail box did not come back to life. I cycled power on it today to try to bring it back up but the power light keeps blinking. Is there anything I can do or should I have them start shopping for a referbed unit?
are the ports in the prostar good ?
plug in a set /regular prostar set in the 2 or 4 ports and see if there good
if not and the mail is on the mother board x1-8 get a 2x4 exp board and move the mail
also poke thru your book for trouble shooting and blinking power light
its been a long time ,but something is
ringing a bell about it or a note to default the mail
also check out the power supply see if its good
