This issue has happen on two jobs. While checking Vm messages in cadence the display (on the phone) goes blank during listening to message, and somtime when I press 3 to delete them, the display (on the phone) dosent come back on until sometime during the next message. I call samsung Tech support and they say they never have heard of this issue. Please help Its driving me crazy. all the Falcon phone are new and so is the Cadence. Samsung is no help. System Dcs w/ expan. cabinet. I am certified By samsung
Well I have a question. What is the software version of the dcs it must be greater than 2.? or the 18d phones dont play nice and Cadence has been off the lineup for a while samsung killed it Are you positive its new?? but then again if you got tech support they know more than I

DCS software first supported Cadence in version 4.1 and iDCS or Falcon phones after that 4.4?
You have to understand that yes the Cadence was discontinued a few years ago.Since then tech support has moved from Miami to Texas and alot of the support techs are new.They probably have never seen a Cadence or have much experience with it especially the first level techs.Latest DCS software is 4.7 I think I know there is a 4.6.I suggest you get a hold of tech support and ask for a second tier tech or manager who at least knows the product.There were definitely some software corrections on the early versions of 4.x software like 4.1,4.2 Check your software levels and go back through the technical bulletins if you have an earlier version.
