What do you guys think about the Samsung OS 7200?

How does it compare to the Samsung OS 500, 100?

The Samsung OS 7200 seems more like a network switch than a traditional phone system is it?

Does it use different technology than the OS 500?

In other words, the OS seem more like a blade server where each blade is a separate computer running on common power supply and processor. However the Samsung OS 7200 switch.

Does anyone have any experience with it or any opinions on this new system?

Thanks.

Is that what your IT guy is trying to replace?

7200 and 500 and 100 and 16 are basically the same. The major differences are the voicemail sizes and port counts. Now the 7400 is a different animal all together. The 7400 will do anything you would ever need network or phone wise.

back on topic...erase the 100 from your mind for a moment because it wont grow to suit your needs. The 7200 can act as a switch or a phone system the 500 cant. the 500 is a large box and the 7000 series are "rack systems". Voicemail's 7200= 12 ports, 500=16 ports

this all depends on your needs and future growth but all samsung systems are easy to use install and program.

all that said and I have to include that the 100 500 7200 7400 can be linked or "networked to grow to what ever size you need.

Ya I’agree ,but the 7400 it’s the all of Samsung previous systems plus the IT techno last requires as VLAN,and the protocols for the QOS,new MGI card (means really true VOIP solution) ,and it’s just the beginning.
Samsung developments is not very fast ( like much others systems ) but it’s strong
