Is there anyway to transfer the programming of my Samsung DCS (also known as a DCS200) to a much newer iDCS 500?

I have the DCS-SIM for the DCS, but do not have the correct version of the PCMMC to download it.

As the DCS has been set up over a few years, I don't want to loose all the call routing and group set up's if I don't have to.

Cheers

Adrian

Unfortunatly no.

The newer systems use a totally different software. It might be a good idea to get all of your programming on to paper.

Unless there is a conversion tool for you out there someplace but I have never seen it. I have seen the tools for one version to the next however.

There are just too many revisions between now and the date of your older system

I've done DCS to iDCS 500 conversions before. The good thing is you can create the new 500 databse offline and upload it into the cabinet when the system is ready. It makes for a very fast install.

It dosent take long if you have 2 notebooks and someone to read out the MMC's in the old system.
