Got a customer whose MGI card will cease to allow users to call other nodes. A reset brings things back up. When you are unable to call between sites, you can still ping the MGI no problem with great response times. Any ideas?
Never had the problem but check

BUMP-anyone else ever experience this?
I have that same Issue right now
os 100 with I think 2.66 and and mgi 3 in the main cab.....
Can ping it but no audio reset card still same Issue
reset system and it works
I have had many problems with MGI3s talking to MGI16 and MGI64s
I found you must have compatable firmware in all of them. The first time i encountered this on an OS500 I updated an MGI3-8 and the next day it started freezing up (NO AUDIO), and the only way to fix it was to power reset the whole switch. updating all of the software of each switch fixed it.
Just last week I upgraded an OS100 to 272 software, and 361 mgi software. the next day I had multiple dropped calls, between it an an OS7400 on the network. Upgrading the OS7400 MGI64 to version 20 software fixed it.
I'm having an similar issue between 2 100's w/2.72 software. (MGI3's) I can communicate between the 2 for a day, next day, I get out of order on the displays. Both can be pinged, and be connected to by IP phones. Reset both works for a day, then same problems. These are both new systems.
