Problem: No long distance allowed to come in or dial out.
Local calls: Work fine
Local Telco: typical "not there problem"
Solution attempts: Restarted equipment, checked fuses.
Help: any solutions. I understand that it is old but would like to attempt to fix.
Thank you
The 816 can't control incoming calls, whether local or long distance.
What do you hear when you attempt a LD call?
Have you tried connecting a single line (not keyset) telephone on the phone line(s) and attempting a LD call? If you can't get out on a single line set, the problem has to be somewhere with either the local telco or your LD carrier.
Well discovered that some long distance lines were cut out of the area causing havoc on some customers.
Hiya,
Sorry i have had to use this topic but i dont know how to create a new one of my own...
I have abit of a problem at the moment
Just got my self a samsung DSC 816 from work that has been returned from a customer.
I went to switch it on today and i got VER 2.2 2003 then sonething else stuck on the screen and it wont go any further.
I kind of help customers daily with samsung issues so im assuming its one of the following,
Either the power supply has packed up
lossed it programming (the memory backup switch was off)
If this has lost its programming because im guessing it has, how would i fix this? and make then display the name time and date on screen again?
You help would be sooo greatly app
Kind regards,
I doubt you're going to get any help in the public section of this forum because you need tech level help. I would suggest two options... purchase a manual for the system or send a PM to one of the mods. They will probably help you for a small fee.
How do i get tech level help buddy? I have emailed one of the mods so fingers crossed i get abit of help
Thanks again
