What voicemail do you have, an internal SMVI-4, SMVI-4e, an external voicemail (mounted outside the cabinet?)
You have a flash hard drive on that vm. It could have become corrupted, maybe not.
Does this happen on every message left?
You can always power down the switch on the cabinet, wait 30 seconds and power back up to see if there is a temporary glitch caused by a power surge.
It may take two or three minutes for the blinking lights on the SMVI-4 to stop. The vm has to initialize so give it some time to finish it's start up routine and then call in and leave a few test calls.
does not happen on every message,
we did power down problem went away now its bacccccck

Is the voicemail an SVMi4 or an SVMi4E?
There was a stutter problem with a few of the 4E cards that required a hardware/software fix.
Pull the card. Put it in a USB/flash adaptor. Run Windows scandisk repair/defrag on it. That will buy you a few months. The flash drive develops bad scattered sectors and the voice files are having trouble finding a home on the drive.
It is a weak platform imo; offer a 7100 and all the wonderful new features at a great price.
