I did a search and the Dataview threads are out of date. How is the current Dataview working out for people?

A few accounts are asking about a reporting program for their informal call centers. "Informal" because they are just basic unconditional ringing groups where the first person that grabs the call, gets the call.

Once they can understand and commit to a more formal UDC/ACD where people are willing to login/logout, be accountable for handling a certain number of calls, etc ... what is next?

Dataview? - or is it smarter to try and wait for the new Samsung IP/UMS ACD? Vaporware now?

Nothing is worse than learning a product, getting a customer comfortable with it, then changing to something 'brand new' right away.

Just looking for general opinions on Dataview from techs or end users. Bugs are fixed now? Happy?
I have one customer who is using it for a call center and he's very happy with the product. In the last 2 years, it was installed on an OS500 but this year we have upgraded to OS 7400.

That is great to hear. Have you heard anything more on the new ACD that was originally going to be released in July? or the /IP/UMS? We hear nothing....
My rep told me, it will be finally released in spring 2009!!
I have been running dataview in my office for quite some time and our supervisors do not use it anymore because the data is extremely inaccurate. When we first got it, it worked great, it kinda 'depreciated' as it got older..not sure why. I gave up on it.

That is what a lot of the older posts had to say about Dataview. Are you running the latest software? It wasn't too long ago that Dataview was upgraded with bug fixes and Vista (bleech) compatibility.
