I am fairly new to the Samsung Officeserv. We have a officeserv 7200. I seem to be having problems saving programming. When i make a change to the programming and save it. It seems to work fine and changes take effect. But when the system reboots and comes back online i lose all programming i just made. Any Help?

make sure the memory switch is turned on on the processor
If the memory switch was off, wouldn't all programming be lost and the clock be at midnight?

Are you rebooting it? When?

Even if the capacitor is set to off, you won't lose programming during a simple reboot. The only way you would lose programming would be if you lost power.

If you don't log out correctly by choosing 'disable' then transfer, it doesnt properly save the changes you just performed. The changes you made are in RAM but not saved to the database file until the KMMC timer expires. Same with saving the voicemail changes using save application before rebooting
Thanks for the tip, I was assuming the system was rebooting on a timer, not the tech rebooting it immediately.

I've never heard that changes only take permanent effect until the KMMC is disabled. Thanks.

Hmm... I learned something new too! I never knew changes were saved until you logged out.

I have a 7200 system too, I could be wrong, but I thought that every time you hit MMC 800 it saves, and it seems like it saved automatically every 15 minutes. I know my 7400 system saves on MMC 800 exit..I wished my dial plan was saved when using Web MMC :-(

When using WebMMC I found that in your web browser tools (under web browsing history settings) set it to search for a new page every time you visit it

I dont know what must be done when using IT or webmmc, but with the set, if you dont exit properly by using 800 disable, it hasnt saved it to the disk database, only the live ram - so if you hit reset, poof, changes gone. I would surmise IT is the same, that changes are saved to the database when you log out or it times out, but i'm not sure.
