The company I work for is doing research and were considering picking up a new product line.
I wanted to get some feedback from the pro's in the field. How are these systems working out in the field? Are there typical issue's however there stable rock solid systems? Or are there so many issue's I might get a migrain?

Thanks in advance for your time?

I'm a little biased, but the product line is great. The OS7100 has become a very stable product and the OS7200 has been solid since it was released.

I've been a samsung dealer since 2002. I've been a long time nortel M1 and norstar guy (since 616DR2 ish, SL1-ST /N), always thought the product was pretty awesome. Then I came into Samsung, and i think I got into it around the time when the 100/500 line was getting the kinks worked out. I thought the product was awesome, and has since replaced the norstar line as my favorite equipment to program and work on. Like every other manufacturer there have been some new product growing pains in the 7000 series - enough that i continued to sell the 100 (for its rock solid stability) even tho the 7100 had better promise and features. Now with the MP10a... Even if Samsung hadn't given notification of the 100 being disco'd here in north america - I'm happily only selling 7000 series now, have customers with 100's, 500's, and all variant's of the 7000 series. The rock solid performance, 5 year warranty, Great licensing setup (no licenses for extra tdm phones or mailboxes or per-ip hardware phones is nice compared to some other manuf *nortel*toshiba) great feature set that keeps getting upgrades, whats not to like.

ok i'm a little biased. I just think the product is great and really easy to make customers happy with.

Been an Samsung dealer for 20+ years and they went through their worst period in 1998-2000 with the horrendous Cadence voice mail, but the current products are as good as anything out there for the money.

Zero critical failures on all the 7000-series systems we have installed.

Been working with Samsung gear for last 9 years or so. In general pretty stable, and once familiar with the programming very flexible.

I have had a few issues with software glitches on a few models, mostly when first introduced but they are usually pretty quickly addressed.

No critical failures on 7000 series so far, but have had a few strange problems with 7030's in dual cabinet setups.

Would I go with Samsung again if I was restarting fresh in a new company knowing what I do? Yes, Have done exactly that not that long ago smile
