OK Went through the entire forum to find an answer for this, found a few but havent a clue which one is applicable to me.
I recently had to rebuild the db following a muck up with backing up and restoring the programming.
(For some reason whatever I backed up, when I download the same file to the system it just comes up as if nothing has been entered)

FAX: on a completely different extension as opposed to the phones, i.e. phone ext. 0001 to 1119 and the fax machine is on 8308 (analog line) where you do have to press 9 to get an outside line before sending anything. We do have a server software to view incoming fax. When someone is trying to send fax and punches in our normal fax line (211 8308) trunks diverts it to our main line (211 0001) at the recption. I cant see any incoming faxes either.

Had a look in DID name and number translation in mmc714, it looks like the fax is in the right place i.e. 118308 but has B as the route while the others shows the appropriate extension e.g. 111101 - 2201. I tried entering 8308 next to Fax but no joy....I wonder if 8308 bein already designated as VOIP-NET tennant under Dial Number Plan has something to do with it?

Any help greatly appriciated.
Cheers.
