Please do not post tech level MMC's in the open forum. I believe you can upgrade remotely but I advise against it. Send another MCP already upgraded or get someone on site that is qualified. If you mess up the board it will have to go back via the repair process to have the files re-installed. I would not rely on any connection via the internet for this process.
