One of the features lacking on the Operator PC is the ability to see the status of stations at remote sites.

I heard a while back that OS Link will soon be a real CT-Gateway for multi-site applications. Does anyone know when that is happening.

It really hampers selling larger systems that this functionality is lacking. Inter-tel had it back in 1999.
There was a beta trial of OS Operator V2 which is multi site that I had a couple of years ago.

It's a different license to the standard operator though, you will have to badger samsung to see if they will give it to you.

The lack of multi-site cti apps is now my biggest gripe with the CTI suite (now that they have 64bit compatible versions of everything except IPUMS)

*edit*

OS Link V3 is already multi-site compatible, you just need multi-site versions of the apps, which samsung havn't released yet
My understanding is there will be no multisite operator.

I guess it's down to volume of TAPI events from each PBX on each node of the network.
What... no multisite operator? Ever? Thats a big deal when going up against other IP products.
The word I got is that many dealers are requesting it and they are looking into it.

I agree with 6string on this; hard to compete on larger system sales without a multi-node capable attendant PC console.

That is one of the first things larger accounts want in a phone system. Without it normally is a deal breaker.
We just lost a larger 200+ phone system sale because OS Operator doesn't work multi-node. Anyone that cares about selling larger accounts should complain to their regional sales manager about the lack of this feature.

It should be no problem at all for the OS link to work as a real CT Gateway. Everyone else has it, Samsung should also.

Call Samsung and let them know.
Samsung is now making a request to hear from dealers about what (lack of) certain features are costing system sales.

If you are a Samsung dealer, please submit requests to your RSM ASAP. PLEASE include the lack of multi-node attendant console status!!
Now that they have thin client support for screen pop, etc via Xchange, and finally got their act together (mostly) with 64bit (except IP UMS Client), multi node cti apps in general, not just just Operator would be nice.

I believe there is a multi site dataview and ACD in the works.

Message Wait via SPNET (other then a VMMSG) key would be nice also, though I believe they have already dismissed that as not happening.
