Hello,

I am trying to set up a voicemail for someone on the Samsung KPDCS-12B LCD Telephone but I am not having much luck.

I am able to change the greeting but I am not sure on how to turn the voicemail on. To change the greeting I pressed Scroll,Scroll and then VM and followed the spoken instructions to change the personal greeting. After I have done that does that mean that the voicemail is now enabled and if somebody were to ring, after however many rings it will go to their voicemail??

Many thanks for the help.
You need to set forwarding up by pressing transfer 102 and setting no answer (or what option you want) to your voice mail group.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked this and its on this but if I ring it whether it is locked or unlocked, it doesn't go to voicemail... It just keeps ringing and ringing...

Is there something else I need to do?
Make sure once you put in the voicemail group you then press the right soft key under the display and change the currently set option to yes by pressing + on the volume.

The default no answer delay is 15 seconds unless someone has changed it.

This will only set forwarding for direct calls to this station such as DDIs and internal calls. If the DDI rings a group then you will need to setup a group overflow to voicemail and setup a key to access it.
