We have a service from SIP provider which sends some DID numbers to my public IP address. Officeserv 7400 is setup behind my firewall. VoIp is on same public IP and works fine.
We did all the SIP config on the system and I am pretty positive everything is fine there as well.
Now when i dial the SIP number, it rings and then gets disconnected. By default it is forwarded to operator.
I did some packet trace and found that call signal is coming to my firewall gets forwarded to my MCP IP just fine. However I dont see anything coming back from my MCP on the trace.
Voice will be later part but right now even signalling is not working. Call doesnt ring on operator phone as it should.

Any thoughts?

Try disabling the MPS channels and make sure your SIP T ringback is correct for the ITSP.

Thanks bmreen. MPS is disabled. Can you guide me more on ringback?

Please please please. I really need some help here. Getting desparate now.
I even tried changing my SIP provider now but same issue. I also tested by putting the system outside firewall but again same thing.
Trace shows no response from samsung at all. Verified with my dealer and samsung support. All settings seem to be fine.
As mentioned, my VoIP phones are working fine. SIp license is there and i get dial tone on trunk but both incoming and outgoing calls are not working. There is no response from samsung system for any incoming or outgoing calls.

Please please help me.

Does MMC837 show the sip trunks as registered?
Can you send me a download and the trace?

hi there,
for incoming call
set 5.2.12, incoming mode should be Follow DID Trans. then make sure that your extentions from 3.2.3 should be written like 1***, 2*** etc.
for outgoing call,
maybe your provider do not want any cli sent. So from 5.2.13 set SEND CLI TABLE set free block of 2.4.3. ı mean 5.2.12 write 3, then write nothing 2.4.3's 3rd block.
then 5.2.16 sellect suitable audio codec.
If there is no rule written on firewall about sıp, ıt gonna be work

Thanks for the reply deepbx.

For incoming call, it is set to follow did and in 3.2.3 the did i go from provider is set to forward to operator by default. Not sure about second part you mentioned about 1***, 2***. I am assuming you mean extension numbers.

For outgoing i will try it tomorrow and let you know.

Its been really frustrating as i am trying to make this work for past month or so. As i mentioned it seems samsung is not responding at all to SIP calls.
