Have a Vet clinic we installed a 7200 with 8 port SVMi-20. The on call vet changes daily. Would like to build a menu box with a pin that would flow to the on-call mailbox and change the oncall number. I have done this on the Comdial vm with the txt box. Don't see how it flows with the SVMi. ty

Is it the same vet on call each day of the week? (ie each monday is joe, each tuesday is bob, etc)

If so they you could use the schedule to send it to the required dial block based on the day of the week

How many people are on call? Are there digital trunks?

I'm thinking route the call out via Mobex - 4 external numbers "paired" to the mobex.

That way the staff are ALL on call but the 3 who arent can just log out of the mobex via feature code. Ideal for people covering on holidays, etc and no need to change VM routing smile

There are 9 Vets who share the rotation, however the order may vary due to vacation, and days off. Can anyone give me an example of a translation pointer in the menu box? Thank you.
