Hi All

Can anybody tell me if Dataview will work on a 64bit machine. I am using version 1527 but cannot get the web page to open.

Thanks

I have installed that version on 64bit windows and it works.

There is a 1528 version, not sure what if fixes though.

So the login page doesn't open?
Do you have ASP enabled on IIS?

Hi

Thanks for the feed back.

ASP is enabled when you open the web page it comes up with a message forbidden.

The local software supplier does not have v1528.
Do you know where i can download it from?

Thanks

What OS is dataview installed on? Can you open the default web page in IIS?

You need to check your IIS security settings.

HTTP 403 Forbidden error, means that the ip address of the pc your on, is not allowed to view web pages in that directory on that site (Dataview in this case)

I've checked all the setting and the default application pools does not want to run. The error loggs points to a 64bit error.

I have downgraded the machine to a 32bit machine with windows XP and all is working now.

I will still play with the 64 bit machine to see if i can get a solution.
