Can anyone furnish me with the tech-specs or an explanation of how the EU-PRI and the TEPRI/E differ coz I have a site where E1 point to point links are failing to work off the TEPRI cards but the EU-PRI do work;E1 that goes via client routers which are set to determine dialled routes work fine with TEPRI cards but fail when connected onto EU-PRI.
This could help to solve another issue where OS7400 PRI links from CO exchnge fail but PBX to PBX-varying vendors, the os 7400 works.

AFAIK the EU Pri is only a PRI card, in that it will only connect to PRI lines.

The TEPRI card will connect to PRI lines, but also to T1 (Primarily used in North America), and E1 (Used in EU and a lot of other countries (eg AU), and also does QSIG (not sure if the EU PRI does this or not)

What mode the TEPRI card is in, is determined by the 4 or 5 dip switches on the card. The various combinations are printed on the card.

It is also worth mentioning that the OS500 TEPRI/a and the OS7000 TEPRI/a cards are the same card just in a different layout.

The OS7400TEPRI60 card difference is that it supports 2 services on the same card, each service having its own set of dip switches from memory.
