I have an older OS7100 running 4.04a in another state. They answer with A/A (SVMi) at night and live during the day. They have 6 analog lines in TKGrp 800. They use LCR. If any phone is call forward all to 9 + cell number at night and I call thru the A/A and dial their extension number I get xferd to the cell. If I call in during the day time, and have the operator xfer to the same phone forwarded to 9 + cell it ring no answers. Customer says this has been the case since we shippped the system. Any help would be apprecated. Samsung tech support vague.
4.04a is a very buggy version. One of its many problems is transferring calls outside of the system. A few years ago tech support wouldn't have even helped you on a system with this version until you upgraded.
Upgrade to at least 4.24a, don't go to 4.46 it has a scheduling bug that will mess up your day/night.
Try setting the divert via a no answer divert (603 9 + Mobile)
Set your external forward AND No Answer timers to 1 second.
Do you have Intercom EXT FWRD set also?
I use forward no answer for vmail at 15 seconds so I can't set it to 1 second. I do have Ext Fwrd set as YES. Looks like it's time to upgrade. Didn't want to do it but you gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks Guys!
