I can't get a Cisco SPA122 to register with 7030. I've installed the 3rd Party SIP license and total of 4 MGI. In 2.7.2 I have Ext217, UserID 3217 Password 123456. On SPA122 I have Outbound Proxy set to 7030 IP address. UserID to 3217 and password to 123456. In 2.8.0 Ext217 is set to SIP Phone. 6.2.3 is not showing ATA registered. Any ideas on what I'm missing??
With sip extensions the user id must match the extension number.
Namless Thanks!. That was the problem. Strange that my ITP phone @2.7.1 uses Ext=211 and UserID=3211 and it works. But my SIP phone @2.7.2 defaults to Ext=217 and UserID=3217 but does not work. I changed UserID to 217 and same with ATA as you suggested and it registered. Thanks again.
It's aggravating that the SPA122 has (2) FXS Ports but you can only use (1) of them per Samsung 3rd Party SIP license. My customer needed a analog cordless and external ringer at a remote location over VPN. It would be nice to have them each on a separate Ext. Customer already chocked on a $$$ SIP license when the ATA's are only $60 bucks... I thought Samsung was suppose to reduce the cost of the 3rd party SIP to something more reasonable but haven't seen it yet.
