Have a quick question.
On the old Samsung DCS systems you could connect a phone to a phone using a KDb-DLI card if it has that card installed. Then both phones have different extension numbers off the same station port.
Phone station port---------------------phone---------------------phone

When this is done how do you identify the station port on the phone system that is using the piggy back phone?
I can tone the first phone back to system but not the 2nd.

I looked at mmc 724 but I could not see where you change station numbers on that old system.
I know I’m missing something somewhere you should be able to say card 3 port 3 is station 232

Thank you

If you look in 724 your answer will be there. On a DCS Compact or a 50Si or a 100 that will support the daughterboard cards in mmc 724 the first port ie 001 will be the main port and 002 would be the secondary port. For a Compact every extension can have a secondary port but a 50 or 100 can only support it on the 8 built in ports so only those first 8 ports would show a secondary port . So in 724 you will eventually see something like
Port 005 223 Port 006 323

That would mean that the secondary port 323 is the daughterboard card on extension 223. And that is what a default would look like. The main port has a 223 extension and the secondary port would be 323.Of course that can be changed in 724 but all you need to do is find the extension in 724 and the extension listed before that is the main port where the daughterboard card is installed.

If you can tone back the main extension like you said then you should also be able to "see" the daughterboard extension running back on another pair of the same cable. Unless they are using a 25pr cable or similiar. If that was the case you would have to follow the jumpers being used on the cable feeding the main extension.
Thank you this help a lot

I think you can get that from MMC 108 or 208, it lists all the station attributes and as PVJ says the 2nd port should be 100 higher than the primary extension. By default 203 would have 303 as a second port. Can change that in 724.
