Hi All, OS7100 4.63 using AA on incoming. How do we show Caller at desktop when VM transfers out. Now displays "call from 30x" until answered, then shows ID. User would like to see ID before answering.

Look in MMC 210 and there is a setting for forwarding CID.

I don't think you can, as the VM is doing a transfer.

If you change the ringing line 1 and/or line 2 settings in MMC119 you might be able to do it.

Also look at Ringback Station Name in MMC300

In MMC 210 there is a new setting called, Hold CID transfer. If it is off, it will not show CID coming from VM. Once turned on, it will show it. I discovered this a few months ago at a hospital install we did.

I'd have to setup a bench to confirm this but if you are right you just answered something everyone has been asking Samsung to fix for the last 10 years.

Anybody know what release it came out in? in 4.70 I see Held Party Cli Send. Is it new to 4.75?

I know it's in 4.63. I believe that's when it first came out. Or maybe even 4.60. Not quite sure though.

on a 7200 I see it in 4.46d Held party Cli send that is.

Just tried this setting at a cust site - 7100 v4.75. All I get is either name or number, I'm not sure if I'm misreading this or not. I would like the CID to show name AND number using both lines of the display, not one or the other. Alot of my customers don't really care to see transfer from 30x, they want to see both name and number displayed when the phone is ringing.

As it's a transferred call the bottom line will anyways show transfer from xxx
I've tried to get around this with no luck.
You can change the top line

The software by default shows you who the call is transferred from and the CID name or number on top line. That is just how samsung made it. There is no other way around it, unfortunately.
