Looking for a bit of help here. We have a customer with one extension that has really bad voicemail recording. Both on the system and in the .wav file that gets emailed out.

Of course the extension belongs to the owner of the business....

Would it be worth while deleting the mailbox and re-creating it to see if it uses different resources?

There was an issue with poor sounding wave files at some time in the past.

It was why they added the option for 16bit encoding.

But if it's happening on the vm as well, then delete and re-create the ext and mbx is the first thing to try.

Tried the delete and recreate but it hasn't gotten any better. Really strange that it is only on the one extension.

I changed it over to 16 bit and saw a little improvement but it still isn't as clean as the other extensions.
