Hello,

I face the following work problem. two extensions e.g 114 (SLI) and 115 (DLI) are in a group have to be moved to another floor. I know that by simply changing the cords at the patch panel will work but there is one problem here in this case. the floor upstairs has only one line available. That means that I have to split the line to two but this will only accept two digital handsets or two analog handsets.
Can somebody help me on this. 724 programming the 114 extension to a dli maybe is one case but I am not sure
If you can have 2 extension on the other floor then they can be a mix of dli and sli. There is no reason they have to be both the same extension type.

What system is this off? You may be able to use a daughterboard for the sli.
Typically one line to another floor is simply a cable and should have multiple pairs. Split them and cross connect one pair to extension 114 and one to extension 115.
