Hi,

We have a customer with OS7100 and the fan has failed.

I'm just wondering is it worth trying to find a replacement online and swap the fan out.
Or is it more sensible to just replace the chassis?

Takes about 5 minutes or less to swap a fan out.I guess the answer is the availability and cost of a replacement fan vs a cabinet.

Has anyone ever replaced a fan with power on. Remove the cover, 2 screws, unplug the old, mount the new, plug it in.

i replaced a fan on a 7100 cabinet with a 3 wire fan, getting fan error 08, and approximately 20 second later getting error 09 fan recovered. any idea?

Is it an original fan?
