Hey folks,

I was wondering how best to look for channel utilization on a system. Either sip or pri. I was thinking SMDR but trying to determine which calls are concurrent seems like it rough bit of work.

Any suggestions?

You need some sort of call accounting package.

Something like pabxsoft or samsung cms.

Both offer a trial period

UGH Samsung CMS. I hate that thing. Plus having to deal with the rude setup team. That training they were giving was a joke.

Its very easy to setup. Never had to speak to anyone for the setup.

I believe it is. It was actually with a 3rd party vendor. Not Samsung directly. They were out of the UK. I would call your dist and see if they are still selling it.

The company who make it is called tollring.
They have offices in the us as well as the uk.
The website is still up with download links for v6 and v7.

I would first ask the carrier if they had some stats/reports available.
