With Gmail changing on the 20th, has anyone set up a new email and with whom?

This is a VERY pertinent question!
We are asking most customers to provide an email account we can use - it usually ends up being through Office 365 and sometimes the IT guy has to fight with the settings to whitelist our equipment.
What all do you need to do to make this work with Office365? I got a customer I'm having trouble with on Office365 currently.
In theory, option 3 from this microsoft document should be a solution. I haven't managed to convince a IT guy yet to make it work.

The IT company has to enable legacy tls/ssl encryption. then it should work.
