Does anyone know of any Shielded CAT6 8p8c keystone style fittings, made in the USA?

We are working on a Government bid for a housing project and this is the requirement.

I think all jack manufacturing has moved off shore. You can contact the originating contracting officer and ask for clarification and the sources they used to compile the original spec. This information must be provided upon request.

I cant even convince people that SHOULD be using Cat6 to use Cat6.

Pour me some of that washtub 'kool aid' too!

Of course I had a guy today that spec'd Cat6 for voice lines. smile

Well I shouldn't really call it "Government Housing". There's a section of homes which Generals and other higher ranking officers reside in. They are digging down to find 100 year old dirt to match the original adobe.

Not only is CAT6 in each home, Fiber is going to each data outlet as well.

I know Siemon's used to manufacture all their jacks up in Conn. Maybe check with them.

I worked on shielded cat 6 jacks from ITT a couple of years ago, not sure where they were made.

Good luck.
